Letter from the CEO
Thank you for your interest in Kindred Hospital Fort Worth. Please allow me to familiarize you with our hospital and services. We continually work to improve our knowledge, skills and customer service. Many of our patients and their families come to us following serious or complex medical events, often having been in a short-term hospital before being admitted to our care. We have a mature and professional staff who understands how difficult illness is on the patient and family and we provide care and support accordingly. We strive to make this setting patient friendly and filled with hope, care and kindness.
This hospital is certified as a long-term acute care hospital. What this means to our patients is that we provide hospital level services such as professional nursing care, laboratory services, respiratory therapy and medical imaging including CT scans for patients who require such care for longer periods of time. Our average length of stay for patients is about 25 days. This "extra" time allowed by Medicare for specially certified hospitals can be very important in order to treat complicated and serious health conditions.
The staff at Kindred Hospital Fort Worth take great pride in the care we provide and are diligent about continually improving to assure that our patients are receiving the best care possible. Please feel free to contact us with questions or make arrangements for a tour of our hospital.
